If you want to know

What it’s like to be stuck

In a stitched suit of your own creation

Try working at a retail hell

Where you interact with people,

Who run, move and slither

And commit judgement upon

A company’s battalion.

Some in this battalion handle the judgement

With an easy smile and a delusional friendliness

But there are those humans who are left helpless

To the authoritarian microscope

They are called “introverted,” “eccentric,” “weird,”

They keep to themselves and do the work

Without a word of derision

With no thanks or appreciation
